This photo is very interesting as it is dose not focus predominantly on the face but more on what is happening around him with the smoke and what it is forming.

War photography is the idea of capturing devastating or sometimes inspirational photos of war that are generally used for provocation.  This photograph is by Eddie Adams who is famous for his photography throughout the Vietnam War.

Eddie Adams served in the United States Marine Corps as a photographer and later won awards for his work. This Image shows the pure emotion of soldiers at war and victims of the war and is a fantastic example of war photography and the use of the rule of thirds.

Landscape Photography

Landscape photography is the focus on different spaces throughout the world. Although most tend to focus on elements from nature others focus on man made objects or disasters. These photos generally contain little or no human activity within them.
